Kornheiser's regular season debut

As for the Monday Night Football on ESPN. The lead in was one of the cheesiest intros I have seen. Schwarzenegger's cameo was stupid. You could tell ESPN put as much work into the intro as they do to covering the game.




To go along with that I just can't see what Tony Kornheiser is adding to the telecast. Every time he tries to work with Theisman, Joe hangs him out to dry. Joe completely disagrees with every comment Tony makes and doesn't engage him in conversation. In PTI, Tony is one of the best debaters I have seen. Maybe Theisman just doesn't want to take him on. Maybe, Joe is trying to haze in the rookie? I don't know but Sunday night football was much better than this Monday night deal.
